Start with support — it is usually faster
Most issues are misunderstandings about scope, timing or an invoice, and are resolved the same day by writing to care@buygoriithm.com with your order reference.
The formal grievance process below exists for when that has not worked, or when the issue is serious enough that you want it on the record from the start. You are entitled to use it immediately — you are never required to exhaust support first.

How to raise a complaint
Send an email to grievance@buygoriithm.com with the subject line "Grievance — [your order reference]". Including the following makes resolution significantly faster:
- Your name and the email address used at checkout.
- The order reference, if the complaint relates to a specific order.
- A factual description of what happened and when.
- What you have already tried, and who you spoke to.
- What outcome you are seeking.
- Any supporting evidence — screenshots, correspondence, invoices.
What happens, and how fast
| Stage | Statutory limit | Our target |
|---|---|---|
| Acknowledgement with a reference number | Within 24 hours | Same business day |
| Initial assessment and first substantive response | — | Within 3 business days |
| Resolution and written outcome | Within 15 days | Within 7 business days |
| Refund or corrective action, once agreed | — | Initiated within 2 business days |
If a complaint genuinely needs longer — because it involves a third-party platform or a payment gateway investigation, for example — we will tell you before the deadline, explain why, and give a revised date. Silence is not an outcome we consider acceptable.
If you are not satisfied
Our process is not the end of the road, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Internal escalation
Reply to the resolution email asking for escalation. The complaint is reviewed by someone who was not involved in the original decision, and you receive a fresh written outcome within 7 business days.
National Consumer Helpline
You may approach the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or at consumerhelpline.gov.in, operated by the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Consumer Commission
Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 you may file a complaint with the District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission appropriate to the value of the claim, including online through the e-Daakhil portal.
Data Protection Board
For unresolved complaints specifically about the handling of your personal data, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Payment disputes
For payment-related disputes not resolved by us or the payment gateway, the RBI Ombudsman Scheme for Digital Transactions is available through your bank or payment provider.
Records and confidentiality
Grievances and their outcomes are recorded and retained for three years. They are reviewed periodically to identify patterns — if the same complaint keeps arriving, the problem is our process, not the customers.
Your complaint is treated confidentially and shared only with the personnel needed to resolve it, or where disclosure is legally required.
We would rather hear it than not
A complaint that reaches us is a problem we can fix. One that does not just becomes a review nobody can respond to.
